It can be a bit of a gamble when buying non OEM bits and bobs for your camera. Will the lens focus, will the battery be ok, will the flash do the same job, will it be as good quality? Having worked for the Scottish modified car magaine Fast & modified last year I wanted to expand into the UK market but I’ve found it increasingly difficult to get a shoot with some of the mags such as PVW, Golf+, Total vauxhall etc. This all changed recently when through the recomendation of a ginger secret agent I was offered my first shoot with a UK wide magazine Golf+. I love photography and getting paid to do it is ace but there is nothing like having someone appreciate your work. I recently did some work for Pipercross air filters in Northampton, for their website and packaging via their web monkey who had contacted me to get specific shots of a Nissan 350Z since he could not find the shots he required through the usual microstock sites.
Welome to my photographic journal. In this blog I’ll be writting down my experiences and thoughts about my photographic world. So whats to come? well I have recently given a presentation about fine art papers at a local photographic sociaty and I’ll be writting up my thoughts on the different papers over the coming week or two and I’ll be editing the over all look of the blog.
